The Mechanicsburg Club's Picnic Grounds is one of the Best Privately owned Grounds in Central PA! Our large fielded parking area can accommodate approximately 2,000 vehicles! We Have 3 Pavilions; the Large Pavilion can accommodate at least 400 people! The two smaller pavilions have scattered seating and combined, may accommodate up to close to the same.
Our Kitchen area consists of 2 gas stoves (with 4 ovens & 16 top burners), 4 deep fryers (cooking oil separate), the serving area’s louvered door can easily accommodate serving from the kitchen to the outside! Our ice machine has the capacity to produce 500 LBS of ice and we have a large walk-in cooler. We also have a Bar-B-Que pit to ease cooking for pig roasts, ribs, steaks etc.
Our entertainment facilities at the grounds caps things off by our 4 horseshoe pits (shoes provided)! As far as live musical entertainment, not to worry as we have plenty of room for outdoor or covered areas for bands to play, not to mention the electric to cover such entertainment!
